Sterling Heights

This complex seemed wonderful from the sales pitch, and the tour.

Problems have abounded ever since I moved in.

The neighbors have been a real pain with noise, ALL NIGHT, every night. Management has not dealt with it except by placing a note on their door.

Someone moved in adjacent to me, and now MY apartment is filled with cigarette smoke. Management claims they can do nothing. Why should I live like this? Of course they can do something! You do NOT have to rent to smokers, and the legal grounds are that smoke damages units.
I have health problems on top of it. Management doesn't care.

I had roaches.

I had ants.

Stray cats left fecal matter all over the front of the units, and management told me I should by some spray. (!)

There have been vehicle break-ins.

Good thing I have pictures of the dirty carpets that we were presented with upon move in. I'll probably need them to get my deposit back upon move out, since the senior manager has been peeved about my complaints.

I am moving to another complex immediately. The cigarettes are the last straw.

Good riddance, Sterling Heights.
