I don't love this place, but it's OK.

I rarely use my "reserved" parking spot because the unreserved spots are so much closer, and they are located on the side of the apartment where I can see my car. Unfortunately, if I don't get home relatively early, all the unreserved places are taken. Also, my car was broken into in the reserved spot, probably because that spot is next to a big garbage bin, so the thief was shielded from view.

From time to time the neighbors can be noisy. It's the usual rude people playing rap music on their car stereos as they drive by, or idiots honking their car horns instead of using a doorbell. But that's all part of apartment life, I guess, and I can't blame that on the apartment management.

Service and maintenance is hit and miss. Usually maintenance requests are handled quickly and adequately, but sometimes you have to remind them more than once, and sometimes the problem is never really fixed.

My apartment air conditioning has never really worked, despite several service calls, and in summer I get better cooling with window fans. For example, I could start the AC at 9 pm with the apartment temp at 80 degrees, and at morning the temp was still 75 degrees ... while the outside temperature had dropped to 60 degrees.

Rent prices have risen substantially lately; risen significantly higher than the rise in inflation. I suspect that the corporation that owns the apartment has losses in some other investment, and is trying to compensate by raising our rents.

You know, the more I think about this apartment, the more I'm thinking about moving.
