I have been at Durant Park for 3 years now and have had a great experience here. The apartments are small, but pretty well maintained. The manager Luis has always taken care of my problems and when he couldn't the owner always was there to help. The property is old, but in better shape than most Berkeley rentals.
The previuos three reviews sound like they had a problem with the old manager. I have never experienced anything like what they are talking about, nor has any of my friends in the building. But if you are worried about the manager, he just quit and moved to Vegas.
I highly recommend, great location and a nice clean apartment.
