Like privacy' Very poor' Evans Manor is for you! It is, far as I know, certifiably the cheapest place to live in Berkeley. I live in the smallest type of room they got for a sinful $370/month. Plus, all utilities are paid for (excepting phone/internet bills, of course). You can't get a better deal. The downside is the lack of a kitchen, and the bathrooms are absolutely abysmal, unacceptable, furbrishment, especially the Resident Evil-style 1800's bathtubs and the showerheads that fall off. Also, this may or may not be a good thing depending on your tastes, but if the bathtubs weren't enough, Evans Manor is certainly quiet enough to be Resident Evil. It's deader than a cemetery at night, and nobody ever mingles. The social atmosphere is absoultely zero; a little too quiet for me. However, a great place to hunker down and study.
