Good Location, Everything Else Bad From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 8/31/2004 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2004   Berkeley is a great city, and I recommend living here if you can afford it. However Gaia is very expensive and the management was poor. They kept us waiting for our deposit until the last minute and then took off money for a bunch of "minor cleaning". We had a great view of campus but during the second half there was non stop construction for "leaks" in the window (one of which they apparently charged us for). Loud drilling at 9:00 on the weekend isn't my idea of pretty living. Should have been a better experience, hopefully you can find a better place for less money.
