Corrupt management - TERRIBLE PLACE!!!! DO NOT LIVE HERE!

I have a sneaking suspicion that all the positive reviews were written by people in the leasing office.

Though the apartment itself is beautiful, new, and clean, and the location is excellent, I have never encountered a more terrible or corrupt management company. They try to exploit students and if you have any issues with them, instead of trying to work with you, they refer you to their sleazy lawyer. They also lie to try to cover how disorganized they are, and often tell you that you can do certain things (ie. sublet) and then change their minds and claim that they never told you that. Honestly, the rent is WAY to high for you to have to deal with that kind of incompetence, corruption, and rudeness. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!

Also, we had a strange incident once where one of our windows spontaneously broke, and management was not the least bit surprised. That's more than a little suspicious, if you ask me.

I totally agree with this review. My roommates and I are ending our lease this August, and the management has been harassing us to move out earlier so they can victimize other students. I am a student at Cal, and if you are too, I warn you, DO NOT LIVE HERE!
