Gaia Building is #1 - I seriously dont know what these people are talking about, but I've lived in the Gaia Building for the last two years and think its the best thats out there. Clean,quiet and close to everything in downtown Berkeley! - I have just moved in here and I love the place. It's nothing special but it's management is cool and the place is gated ,clean and quiet. Great apartment building - I have lived here for about a year and think this is just a wonderful place. I read reviews about bad noise, but I have never experienced this even though I live facing Shattuck. Our windows were replaced pretty early on, so that might account for how quiet it is. Close to campus I've lived here for two years and I love it. The building is new and clean and very close to campus. Lots of great restaurants around and an amazing view of the Bay from the roof garden. There is a secure garage, and the maintenance crew is fast and efficient.

Been here for years I think it is a great idea that the company ensures that there is an Resident Service Advisor in every building, especially because we are available even when the office is closed. Most of all, the value you get for the size and newness of the apartment is unbeatable!
