This is all based off then I lived there-

The layout of the apartments could be a little better. I had a 2 bed, 2 bath unit and it was a little annoying that you had to go through a bedroom to get to a bathroom. Also, the larger bedroom has the smaller bathroom- seems odd to me.

As far as craftsmanship- one wall in the livingroom was bowed. We couldn't figure out just why the couch was never straight, then we got out a level- the wall was curved ever so slightly. The doors were also a little off.

The fridge smelled bad and was pretty old.

The kitchen wasn't bad, a little small, but the dishawsher was newer and I didn't have many problems with the garbage disposal.

The maintenance guys were awesome. They were always traveling around and all you had to do was step outside for a little bit and you'd be able to just flag them down and ask them to look at something. The longest it ever took THAT way to get something fixed was a half hour. If you went to the office, it might take a couple, but the maintenance was great.

Theft- Our truck was stolen, and my brother's GYM bag was stolen out of his car. The whole gated community is just a false sense of security, do yourself a favor and make sure you keep no valuables in your car, and make sure it's locked AND has lowjack. Other than that, nothing to report.

Pool/spa - clean, but a little busy at times.

Location- right across the street from NYPD, best pizza EVER.

All in all it was an alright place to stay. I say torn simply because for the price, I'd have liked either a in-unit washer/dryer or possibly a bigger balcony. Something.

this is such a noisy apt complex. be prepared to put up with noise and filth.

maintenance is not what it use to be. now they get to their work order until the 3rd time you beg to get something done. the guy who cleans - doesn't. grass looks bad - yellow.
