I rented for over a year....did my research and this place is hands down a scam. None of the rules are followed...Abandoned cars parked without repercussion, and excessive music. Numerous complaints to the manager fall on deaf ears. They come off as strict and a safe place to live, but cars are vandalized without any support from the front office. They have a USPS mailbox on the sidewalk outside the office that is routinely stolen from. They even handed out flyers telling resident to leaving outgoing mail in the drop box in their office. Valley road is basically a dragstrip so if you have kids forget about letting them walk on the sidewalk. Last year a car couldn't make the turn and plowed into several parked cars. Upon leaving they will take every penny possible without a valid reason. I'm very knowledgeable on rental procedures, and only when forced to cite written law do they respond. Even then the deposit is withheld without out due cause. I had to bring in outside help to resolve the deposit issues, and they relented. The law is clear, and Park Bonita disregards it, and makes it difficult for the tenant to recover what is rightfully owed.
They are great when you sign the lease, but forget about them enforcing THEIR own rules or doing what's right when you leave.
