Pricey but Nice
From: jwhite.arDate posted: 11/9/2008
Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2008
Things I like:
Nice atmosphere;
Clusters of buildings with 8 apartments around amenities creates a mini-community feel inside a large apartment community;
Quite a bit of a budget is spent on maintaining the grounds regularly, so as a resident I'm surrounded by greenery;
Nice amenities (multiple clusters of pools, laundry, and BBQ facilities);
Very responsive to maintenance requests;
Very good soundproofing between neighbors;
I can stay cool for 358 days a year without air conditioning;
Central heat;
ADDED 11/2008: New after hours entrance/exit onto the Birch/Associated traffic light helps during commuting hours.
Things I don't like:
Among the pricier complexes in Brea (though not the highest);
Shallow kitchen sinks combined with low-rise faucets conspire to make it difficult to wash deep pots;
Very little kitchen counter space for food preparation;
Living room air instead of central air;
Guest parking spaces can get crowded and aren't always close to where you happen to live in the complex;
