If It were not for my mobilization in the Army National Guard, I would be living there still. The rent was a little high but if you lived in other parts of the county for a little less, you would subject yourself to no parking and less than middle class or better people.

I liked that this 400 unit apartment complex has its two laundymat are open 24 hours a day. There was plenty of excess parking on the street and the city of Brea does not ticket that often if you don't have a sticker. There is no weekly street sweeping. Since there is no room for guest parking inside the complex, the extra parking on country hills road was a blessing. If you get a lower floor apartment, your electric and heating bills will be minimal. Some car ports have storage bins that you can secure. The apartments have all electric. no gas though there are gas broilers by the pool and at various parts of the complex.

If you are sports or nightlife minded, The Brea High School is exactly 1.5 miles away. I used to run up and back. 24 Hour Fitness Sport just opened up. There are 3 malls in Brea nearby and Birch Street has nightlife that rivals 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. The city is pricey but Brea is a very diverse town. Its an Athlete's heaven. I would recommend it to anyone. Its real close to Lambert and the 57 Freeway so if you work in Pomona or the San Gabriel Valley, the traffic going south is gridlock while the traffic north flows very well.
