After living in these apartments for almost five years, having a perfect record of rent payment ontime, never having a complaint against us, we were harassed by management until we could no longer take it. My husbands car had an oil leak so we bought a device to catch the spill and make no mess although the maintenance guys truck was parked right across from us with a bad leak and a pile of kitty litter. He was not harassed and did not have to abide by the same tenant rules imposed on us. We were constantly harassed with threats of towing. I walked the complex and took pictures of at least 10 other parking spots with leaking oil. They were not harassed. Our rent on a two bedroom was $1950. No matter how well you pay your rent, if the management doesn't like you they will find a way to get you out. Do not move here. These apartments are overpriced old with wall unit air onditioners in one room only. If the management doesn't like you, they don't speak with you, they just paste a note on your door. Again, don't move here. We moved into a two bedroom condo with a two car garage and the rent is $300 less. Don not settle for these apartments.

Threats of towing because you had a "device to catch the spill"? What kind of device? And how exactly do you know if anyone else was asked to deal with an oil leak? Something does not add up here. I was asked once to park on my own side of the shared garage when I hadn't thought the other side was unassigned, and once to remove some large potted plants from my upstairs railing. These were both reasonable requests, not harassment. While I did as I was asked, it sounds like you decided to fight about it instead, and maybe that's why the staff didn't "like you". I like to live in a place where people respect the community and each other ("old and bitter" is not respectful). From the sounds of it, I wouldn't have liked you either and I'm glad you're gone.

I'm glad I'm gone too. The device happen to be designed to catch oil leaks and was undetectable unless you bent over and literally looked under the car. So tell me, why does staff get to place a pile of kitty litter under their truck day after day and not repair the leak? I happen to be old and NOT bitter. How can you judge me? I was kind to everyone there and had no enemies. You receive respect when you give respect. I was not given the respect. I paid rent on time all the time and never had another tenant make a complaint against me. I probably could have had the car repaired sooner had the rent not been so outrageous. I respect your right to your opinion. We don't have to agree. I'm glad you're happy there, but how can you know everything that goes on there? You don't.

oh jupiter is probably one of those old broads who is just like the manager. Petty, ugly, and self serving.

I am glad management works to keep the community clean.
