My name is Marilyn and I have lived at Country Woods for almost 6 years. Picture this for an apartment: I pass over a bridge (that is over a running stream) to get to my front door. While sitting in my livingroom, I can step out on the deck and there is a raging waterfall that spills right underneath my deck! It's like living in a National Park. As far as the staff goes, I have great thankfullness for Regina (Manager), Melissa (asst. Mgr), Rose (Leasing), Steve (Maint Super), Cirilo (Service tech), and Fortino (Porter) for all that they do to make us want to hurry home each evening after work. For the beautiful atmosphere that surrounds our community and for their very caring and hospitable attitude towards each resident. May the Lord Bless this entire staff who has acommodated me and encouraged me as I struggle to adjust to life with a massive brain tumor and seizures.The entire staff release me from stresses of my physical health issues and made my life comfortable. Whether I need assistance in my apartment, help in picking up items I need, a ride to the Dr. or just a friendly visitor, I know I can count on them. Because of their magnificent encouragement daily, I wish that they in turn will receive blessings upon them daily from the Lord. When discussing other living options with my many Dr.'s at The City Of Hope Cancer Center, it was a unanimous recommendation from them all that I maintain this home that I have grown to love so much. By the way, if you or a loved one ever is unfortunate enough to be in a situation like mine....please, go straight to the wonderful angels at City of Hope! God Bless!
