I've lived in Country Woods apartments since the beginning of 2005. Upon move in, I had a few small problems that were taken care of immediately (moldy walls repainted', leaky windows, holes in the screens). Now that I've lived here for a bit, and am moving out SOON, I've found numerous problems with the property. Management response to problems has been adequate, although they ALWAYS seem to be closed in the middle of the day for "lunch." Fellow neighbors are snobby, kids are noisy after 2:30 PM Monday through Friday until about 9:00 PM at night. One of the biggest problems I've had though, and this was this month, was being sprayed by a skunk while walking to my apartment. The property has critter problems: racoons sifting through the trash in the middle of the night, skunks roaming the property like they live there, possum's hissing at you in the parking lot, and crows by the dozens in the trees. Don't count on getting much sleep here either because landscape workers are out and about using their weed eaters at 6:00 AM. The property is okay at best, the neighbors are snotheads and don't say hi, the parking is okay but your car wont stay clean there for longer than a day due to all the stuff in the air, and rent seems to keep getting higher and higher. If I had a choice, I'd go somewhere else in Brea for much better rates and a much bigger place for the money. odusyNYCcZ7yL3Bj5JtG

I agree w/this post. There's a serious problem with animals like racoons and skunks. Several times, I've seen a skunk on our patio. The kids are very noisy, but I find the landscape workers are 10 times worse. They use their machines soo early and they take hours to complete the work. I've also heard some tenants complaining about mice! You can find a better place for cheaper in the same area.

The only problem with the wild animals like skunks, raccoons etc... is residents who leave garbage outside their door because their too lazy to take it to the trash. It's called Country Woods because of the nice wooded atmosphere. Only people who don't have (or don't want) kids will say kids are noisy. How rediculous.
