I lived here for about 9 months. I'm 19 and it was my first time living out of my parents' house. As I had no other place of residence to compare it to than my parents', I bitched about things that were not so bad. Now that I look back on it, and living in a hell hole of an apartment called the Pinnacle at Fullerton, it was a pretty nice place.

The main two gripes I have are that the air conditioning sucks in the summer (no central ac), and the apartments are old (built in the 70's, I believe). The age of the complex is a problem because a lot of hardware needs replacing throughout one's stay. My bathroom door split at the bottom hinge due to the wood being so dry and old. During a brief storm last winter, one neighbor's roof apparently sprung a leak and ended up caving in, producing a strong odor and bad mold. There were also one or two rare, occasional, and unforeseen water problems, where the whole complex was without water from 5 pm till 12 am.

The staff seemed very nice and helpful, especially Lana Kessler. The handymen are prompt. There are many kindly Indian and Asian neighbors here as well as a few weirdos. One lady use to sit in her car at night with the lights on and scream, talk to herself, and wave her arms in the air. There were also several apparent problems with car break ins, but I suppose these are the sort of things you have to deal with in apartment living.

Overall, the streams are relaxing, there is ample parking, and it is wonderful being able to park your car and carry your groceries or whatever else you might have right to your home, rather than having to take an elevator and walk down hallways with a bunch of noisy, drunk, college kids running amok. Definitely recommended.
