I've been living at La Casa Brea for several months now, and have loved it. I'm close to work, and Brea is nice. The complex is very quiet--you can just barely hear the 57 freeway, as it's several blocks away. The complex is kept very clean and nicely landscaped, and sits in a nice neighborhood. The management is nice and easy to get along with. I get one assigned parking spot under a carport, and then I can get spots out in the open for $2/mo if I want. The apartment walls are a bit thin, as the neighbors can hear my home theater system easily and I have to turn it down later at night--I rarely hear them though. The apartment is spacious and in good condition. All this and the rent is very reasonable for Brea, so I'm quite happy with it.
