A TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE...STAY AWAY!

I am writing this review specifically for those considering renting a Studio apartment at Raintree. My advice: save your money and/or keep looking until you find something better! First, the studios are a terrible design in that the front doors are barely four feet apart and each share a common "bedroom" wall. Due in part to such close quarters, you will soon become all too "intimately" familiar with your neighbor/s sleeping habits (or lack thereof), if you know what I mean! Second, the units are old and require fairly constant maintenance. In just over a year and half, I had the following problems: no hot water in the kitchen/shower, malfunctioning (running) toilet, interrmittant water leaking from the ceiling, cockroaches and a non-operable heater. I realize this may not seem all that out of the ordinary for an older complex such as Raintree but also keep in mind that each one of these problems required on the average four to five visits from maintenance to "fix". Third, parking is a total nightmare from the standpoint that the spaces are jam packed so closely together that one can barely squeeze between two cars when attempting to enter the complex on foot. Also, within one week of moving in, I had a six inch scratch in the fender of my brand new vehicle and was "forced" at that point to pay out extra for a "safer" spot beneath a carport. Lastly, management is completely apathetic to any concerns one may have to the point of potentially endangering and/or needlessly contributing to unnecessary prolonged conflicts among the residents. This is due in part to the fact that those working in the management office appear to be essentially paid salespeople who are paid to sell and not to care. For example, after filing numerous complaints over several months regarding the alchoholic, nymphomaniac cocktail waitress living nextdoor to me (including one incident in particular where I was startled out of a sound sleep to find her having sex with her door wide open while two additional "gentlemen" waited their turn in the stairwell), I had to contact the property management company directly before she was finally evicted from the property. To make matters even worse, on the day I finally moved out of Raintree, I was was witness to my latest neighbor getting a very public beatdown from his "baby's momma" while the "other woman" was last seen running for her life from his apartment...needless to say the police were called and I had to standby while they concluded their report before I could resume moving out of my apartment! Finally, as I went to turn in my keys to the management office, a certain male employee w/ a very obvious "short man's complex" felt it necessary to engage with me in a verbal confrontation (which included flipping me off from a nearby window as I first attempted to leave) and came very close to becoming physical when I returned and he next saw fit to "defuse" the situation by invading my personal space...unbelievable! Take it from me, this was by far the worst rental experience I have ever had in my entire life...unless you're planning on experiencing the same, dont rent here!
