Raintree is horrible! These apartments are not only very overpriced but they're not in the best of condition. This complex is so very deceiving; I will start with how old the buildings are; the units are invested with cochroaches. The walls are paper-thin and the paint will ware very quickly; the appliances are old; the cabinet s creek every time you open them. The water pressure here is horrible and the faucets filters constantly have to be replaced due to the water clarity. The air conditioning units are old and only cool a very small area in the living room. The carpets are so cheap they will look filthy and worn in a short period and it does not matter how often you steam clean or vacuum. The whole apartment will look warn and old after a few months of living in it. the cochroaches will not go away as the whole building needs to be fumigated not just one unit, thre is also a severe ant problem.
There is a good chance your vehicle will be stolen, once a week a vehicle is either broken into or stolen. There are too many people living in one-bedroom apartments, lots of drug use and drug dealing.
Most importantly, your rent will increase as soon as you renew your lease. The apartments are so over priced for what you get. You can obtain an much better living environment elsewhere for what you will pay here. Management will not explain that they only have so many 6-month leases available and if you lease month to month your rent will increase almost $350 a month and have an attitude that they are doing you a favor for allowing you to rent here. You are limited to one cable company, Direct TV, you will also pay a fee to another company that services the satellite for the complex, and this runs about $38.00 a month on top of what you pay to the cable company. You will pay a utility and water fee every month based on the amount of people living in the unit which is an additional $40. The laundry facility is a ripp off too, yo have a card that yo have to use and the machines will eat up almost $2 to $3 dollars every time you use the facility.
The management has the most apathetic attitude, you are just a number. Most people lease here for a very short period of time, therefore, management's attitude is there will be someone else renting right behind you. They are not interested in longevity leasing. A two bedroom could end up costing you almost $1800 if you get stuck here.
Please do not let this place deceive you, stay away from this complex. DONT MOVE IN PLEASE DONT DO IT!!!

I've been gone for over a year now and sorry to say that apparently nothing has changed. Keep looking...I spent almost two years at Raintree and it was easily the worst renting experience I have ever had. STAY AWAY!!!!

I lived there for almost 5 years. It's not as bad as a lot of these people say. I never had my car broken into, there were ants, but not roaches. Also, the DirecTV is run through a third party but it was nowhere near and extra $38 on top of the regular service fee. It was more like $5 or $10.
It wasn't a perfect place to live, but it wasn't the crap-hole that a lot of these people make it out to be either.

It is exactly as this person says! EXACTLY! I had massive amounts of Ants. Its horrifying to wake up, turn on the lights and ANTS are everywhere! Also , those small roaches everywhere. I felt to dirty. The staff was described perfectly. My air conditioner would cool the front room, but not the bed room. And then on really hot days, it would freeze over and not cool anything. The water pressure at the faucets were bad, I had to replace the filters there too.
This person described it perfectly.
