The only thing good about these apartments was the location (quick walk from Downtown Brea). The neighbors all pretty much kept to themselves and no real problems with them. The parking situation could get frustrating at times. Only 3 visitor spots for the whole lot often meant that you could come home to find a random car in your designated spot. However, the apartments are not all THAT bad, it is the manager that is the problem. Anytime you call to speak with her she almost never answers the phone and messages are responded to whenever she pretty much feels like it, if at all. She will also accuse YOU if anything goes wrong with anything in the apartment. You can also count on not getting your security deposit back, AND being charged more money on top of that. I specifically requested that she notify me when it came time for the walkthrough to assess damages and I never heard from her again. Until the bill came of course. Notifying me that not only was I not getting some of my deposit but that I also had to pay some more on top of that. On the report she stated that I had failed to show up for the walkthrough. How am I supposed to show up when I was never told when the walkthrough was. Basically she is a shady person and I hope you never have to deal with her.

Aleta is gone, and Claudia is really terrific. Sorry she couldn't have been here when you were. It's nicer now than when Aleta was running it...except the parking (but there is a shared 2-car garage space and an uncovered space provided for us, my mother sometimes has to park down the hill and hoof it up; but then again, it deters her from visiting). :)

I lived in these apartments for 10 years! Really enjoyed all the neighbors and management. I also agree, i didn't care for Aleta very much either. Very hard to get hold of. Hope things are back to normal. Miss ol' #319!
