Tamarack Gardens Apartments

Stay Away! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 4/22/2007 Years at this apartment: 2003 - 2006   They lore you in, and once you sign they are on your ass like flies on poo! The kids are loud as hell. The staff are nosey and tell everyone about your business. My apartment was broken into, the front door literally was kicked down and I was evicted for it. How am I responsible for someone kicking in their crappy door' Oh, and I had to pay to fix that too. We were charged for stains that were already on the carpet when we moved in. They use some shady formula to get even more money out of you. We were there for about three years and paid over $2,000 in deposits and got a whopping $140 or so back. Oh, and me and my boyfriend actually got a warning for having loud sex! Yes, loud sex... My yukon was broken into within a month of living there and had about $2500 worth of stuff stolen. I asked them for the security video that same day and they spun some story about only recording on a 24 hour loop (HELLO! IT HAPPENED LIKE 3 HOURS BEFORE). My apartment was in the front and the camera that points on the front gate would have been able to see CLEARLY who broke into my truck, but they were no help. but when someone was coming in the laundry room and stealing laundry they were able to print out pictures from their security tapes.... Sherri is an uptight unprofessional -----! She doesn't know the first thing about managing a complex. I feel sorry for the other staff. Her son runs arouns the place like he owns it and is prob the cause of A LOT of the crap that goes missing. She actually tried to defraud me out of a lot of money when we had an accident on the kitchen and the sprinkler went off and flooded downstairs. She sent me some half assed bill and just thought I was going to pay it no questions asked. Well, I asked for receipts and all of a sudden the total amount was a lot smaller...but she still thought I was going to pay for meals ordered from posh hotel my downstairs neighbor went to for three days....which i had to pay for. Linda was always very nice and sweet to me, its Sherri that is the problem. I was in the shower one day and she just walked into the bathroom! Yes, the bathroom. I went OFF telling her i was going to sue her nasty ass. Aparently their shody shower was leaking downstairs. My fault' No.... The only good thing about this complex is the location and lay outs of the apartments. Way too expensive however, especially with the lack of security and the unnecessary bullsh*t the staff puts you through.
