Listen everyone, I have lived at the Tamarack Pointe Villas, and I can assure you that all the ratings are true about the lazy manager Greg and that cold hearted snake, Sherry who needs to stop changing her hair color-seriously,its scary-makes the kids cry. However, her scary hair color matches all the large Halloween spiders that you will see all over the property (They tell you part of your rent goes toward spraying for pests but this is a lie). You will have spiders inside and outside of your apartment.
Have a heart for the rest of the workers, they are just under Sherry's wicked spell.
I assure you though, its not just the idiot management, its the tenants as well that create problems and nothing will get done about it.

Yes, the management do check these ratings because I questioned them about it and I was told they are not true. I bought into to this concentration camp for a couple of miserable years. The ratings are not lies, they are facts.
We followed all the rules and yet the management still treats you like dirt. So I know for a fact that they are putting positive ratings in. They have no shame and no compassion whatsoever!

First off, people do no pick up after their pets. There are several people that I have seen allow their dog to poop inside the gated area but never pick it up. One tenant had the nerve to make the comment that she pays pet rent and that covers for somemone to come and pick up the poop. It clearly states in your contract and we have been given notices that we are to pick up after our pets. What part of that do you not get, moron tenant(s)' They do not have a doggie nurse to run around and magically make the feces disappear. Get a clue and pick up after your dog! This statement does not apply to you good people that pick up after your dog. The management again does nothing about this problem. They only send notices without the follow up. So with that said, when the plants are watered or it rains, the urine smell is only magnified.

In regards to dog feces and urine-forget about opening your window on a nice day. Your apartment will smell of urine and feces if it is left under your bedroom window. For some reason, the people that did not pick up after their pets liked to use the side of the complex far away from them. They never wanted their dogs to pee and poo near their own complex.

You can forget about getting decent parking if you own a second vehicle or you have guests. Not to offend anyone but I noticed that many of the guest and tenants from the Gardens was using our lot. Someone stated in the ratings that guest parking is a joke at the Gardens. However, when our lot was full from Garden guests and possible tenants, I walked over to the Gardens and the guest lot was empty. Its very frustrating when you want to park your vehicle in your own lot, especially after paying the high rent that the Villas are not worth, and you can't. The Villas need to add a gate at the front driveway to avoid this problem. Use your head management. You give us those stupid tags to put in our car window but you never do anything about the parking. Useless!
The only time they will do something is if someone parks in Greg's spot. He sits out on his balcony puffing on his cigarrettes watching his spot. The stupid thing is that Greg hardly uses the spot and he parks his dilapidated vehicle in the regular parking area-Too dumb to realize that he is adding to the parking problem.

Yes, things get stolen and cars get broken into. People please, if you decide to rent from these morons, do not leave anything in your garage or car. We were told it was ok to put something in the garage as long as we could still park our vehicle in it and the item got stolen. Guess what' Sherry told me that she knew who it was but nothing was returned to us. Prospect tenants-Get a clue. I think many of the break ins and stolen items are an inside job. If they knew who it was, why were the people not prosecuted and the item returned' Granted, when you live in nicer communities, all the trash from lower class communities come and want to steal your nice items. This happens all the time in apartment living. Just be aware that the Villas and the Gardens apartments do attract theives(insiders and outsiders).

BTW the managers dog was stolen from his balcony. This tells you what kind of place this really is. I am sure it was past tenant that was pissed off with management. This is speculation but probably not far from the truth. It had to have been someone with gate access. Management, maybe you should get a clue from this and have more compassion for people instead of thinking of yourself all the time. People do not like you guys because of your attitudes.

I have nothing against smokers and I have symphathy to a point because many people want to sincerely quit and find it difficult. However, this facility, along with dog feces and uring, reeks of cigarrette smoke. It seems that everyone smokes here. Greg is definitly a chain smoker so if the tenants are not smoking, you can guarantee you will smell Gregs constant second-hand smoke. I did not even live near his apartment and I could still smell it if I opened my windows. If you are a smoker, this place is for you, if you are not a smoker, you will hate it.

The walls are paper thin so expect to hear your neighbor regardless if you live upstairs or downstairs. I could hear my neighbors shower and I could hear coughing, sneezing and talking from all sides. This is how thin the walls are. Most apartment walls are thin but this is rediculous.

Sherry will tell you if you ever need anything, do not hesitate to ask. Folks, I am hear to tell you, this is a sales pitch if I have ever heard one. Please do yourself a favor,if you ignore these ratings and move in, do not ask for anything-and I seriously mean ANYTHING. You will be stabbed in the back and they will not help you or give you concessions. This is not my first rental so I have seen better management and wonderful staff that actual cared about their tenants comfort. Do not expect this type of caring treatment at the Villas or Gardens. This by far is my worst interaction with management and the worst managing I have ever seen.
The rent is not worth the amenities or the jail time that you will have to do here.

Please do yourself a favor and continue your search elsewhere. You will save yourself the trouble in end. I would rather take an apartment with less amenities (and thats a big deal because the Villas offer crap in the way of amentities in relation the rent charged) than to stay at this brain washing facility.

I've recently looked into the Tamarack Point Villas, and found it very nice from the outside. However I have not been able to view an actually apartment. I was told not until the tenant moves out. This is a little frustrating to me. I'm glad I found this posting. It sounds like you had a really bad experience?? We were actually looking at one of the townhouses, is the parking and noise just as bad with these?? Does this Greg guy live at the property? And whats up with the urine smell? Is it really that bad? Yes, the urine is bad but only when the sprinklers go off or it rains. The complex is small inside so everyone lets their dogs pee inside rather than use the lawns in the outside complex.People do not pick up after their dogs. Please stay away. The look nice on the outside but the management is completely nuts. If you want verification please see the reviews for Tamarack Gardens. I have other tenants backing me up. They are managed by the same company. The management is your worst enemy even if you follow all the rules to the letter.I am not the only one who feels this way. Greg does live on the property. High theft and parking can be bad. They do not let you see the apartments. I went through the same thing. The apartment walls are thin but they upgraded the kitchens/bathrooms. Its not worth the money. Go look at the Heights in Chino Hills. Much better accomodations and better management! Good luck
