Yo!

Let's try a REAL review . . .

Hi everyone,

I came across these comments about Tamarack Pointe Villas and felt I had to respond. My wife and I have lived here (TPV) for several years; and we have friends that are thinking about moving in as well later in the year (they love our place when they drop by to visit) and they ve recently looked at this website. I just wanted to spend a couple minutes setting the record straight (for any potential/future neighbors out there).

First off, let me say for the record that I do NOT work for Tamarack management and I am NOT an employee secretly posting on here (as the previous reviewer is apparently worried about). As I mentioned, my wife and I have lived at TPV for several years, and thus we are in a very good position to make an accurate/IMPARTIAL assessment. Second, I m troubled by the comments of the previous reviewer and all the personal attacks. When you re no longer commenting on the property itself, but rather start to call people names and make fun of their hair color, it makes me wonder if there s a hidden agenda going on. . . .Hmmm . . . Like any rental property anywhere, over a span of a few years there will always be some moron tenants (to use the original reviewer s term) that for some reason or another need to be evicted (stopped paying rent, etc) . I have no proof/evidence of this, but I m just wondering if the previous reviewer was someone that was evicted (or asked to leave ) back in 2007 (per the dates on their post) and is now bitter and/or has a vendetta . . . Again, I haven t seen any evidence for this, but the adolescent name calling and personal attacks do make me wonder . . .

As for the property itself (TPV), I can sum it up by simply saying (with several years of experience living here) It s Great . That being said, is it the perfect place with absolutely no problems or flaws whatsoever ('), no, but such a property does not exist anywhere. On the other hand, is it WAY above average in terms of what it offers compared to most other local rental properties the answer is definitely YES. I m not just basing that on my own/personal shopping around experiences a few years ago, but from 2 sets of friends that recently researched/shopped around (extensively) and concluded it was the best property around (local area) in the price range. As another reviewer already mentioned, it s mostly occupied by lots of quiet families and business/professional people (like myself); it's not a college/party complex . Having met many of my immediate neighbors over time, most seem very happy/satisfied with their experiences here.

As for the rambling list of problems with TPV that the likely disgruntled former tenant/reviewer listed, most of them are either blatantly untrue or seriously exaggerated. However, to be fair/objective/impartial, the issue of parking for a second or third vehicle out front (assuming you park your primary vehicle in the garage behind the gate) can sometimes be a concern. Not a concern to the point where you can t regularly find a spot or it s an unsafe lot, but if you come home (very) late at night on a Friday or Saturday night (driving your second vehicle), then sometimes there are only 1 or 2 spaces left to park in the very back corner of the TPV lot. Rarely (maybe 2 or 3 times total since I ve lived here) have I had to go park across the street when I came home late at night and the lot was full (with our primary car already parked in our garage).

Looking at the other so-called problems on the list, they are either false or ridiculously exaggerated. Overall, the positives FAR OUTWEIGH any negatives at TPV. As for Greg and Sherry, I have interacted with them multiple/many times over the years. They are both VERY helpful when you need to get something fixed or have an issue you need help with (I ve always appreciated their help). In fact, the prompt/comprehensive service at TPV for tenants is one of the biggest assets of the property. Everything in my place works as it should (and is VERY clean btw); and if I ever need something repaired or replaced, TPV management is VERY quick to take care of it. I won t take up time going through examples; but trust me, if you re considering living at TPV, you ll most likely be very satisfied/pleased with the service they offer (Greg, Sherry, and staff)

I ll end with this as I mentioned initially, the childish name calling and personal attacks from the previous (so called) reviewer are inappropriate and misleading. For example, Greg is not lazy , in fact far from it (he s great at getting stuff done). Rather, he has a laid back personality (which I appreciate), but that doesn t mean he s not an excellent/efficient property manager. Thinking back to the different places I ve lived in my life (over the years), Greg is probably the best person at his particular job that I ve come across.

So if you re considering Tamarack Pointe Villas, ignore the inaccurate and immature sour grapes , and realize that TPV is a great place to live (glad to have you as a future neighbor).
