Overall a nice place to live

I was a little worried about moving here after I read the reviews, but the price was good and it seemed like a nice place so we took a chance. We have lived here about 9 months now, and I am planning on renewing my lease when it is up. It's not perfect - you can tell the apartments are a little older and it does get really hot in the summer. The air conditioning unit works well, but it only cools the living room, so the bedrooms get very hot. We had a cocroach problem, but it was the people above us and it carried down into our apartment, and when I complained, they let us switch apartments and helped us move - and we have had no problems since, so i can't really fault them for that. The managment is a little slow in responding to maintance issues, but the maintance guys are great and everything does eventually get resolved. The grounds are kept up nicely and it is very quiet. I saw someone complained about the parking, which was an issue at first, but they have fixed that and given everyone their own space with permits and I have not had any problems since they did that. There is no hot water problem either and I cannot hear my neighbors through the wall, which I also saw complaints about. Overall, I am happy here and would reccomend it.
