Tamarack Woods Apartments

Can't wait to leave From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 5/13/2008 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2008   If you love cigarette smoke and noise, and hate such amenities as jacuzzi's, tennis courts, and heated pools (sometimes), this is the place for you! There are a lot of families here; lots of kids running around and screaming in the pool. I think everyone who lives here except me smokes. I constantly smell smoke in my apartment. In both bathrooms AND the kitchen, you have to turn on the water all the way or the pipes will rattle very loudly. I just love it when that happens to my neighbors at 4:30 am! Also, the buildings are close together, and cleverly designed so that when someone walks down the sidewalk, the footsteps echo between the buildings right where 1/2 the bedrooms are. The stairwells are very narrow and steep, and we had to take the front door off the hinges just to get a normal sized couch inside. I don't look forward to the 'moving 'part of 'moving out,' but I sure do look forward to being in the next place. Oh, did I mention that the rent is as high as, or higher than, other, much nicer, places in Brea'
