I haven't had too much trouble with Cypress Village, but there are some things wrong. One is the parking situation. Each household has one enclosed parking space assigned, and you have to fend for yourself if you own a second car. There is not nearly enough parking in the lot. You end up parking way down the street, in front of another apartment building.
Another is the fact that the manager is never in the office. The hours are posted as 9-5, but it's more like 10-3 or so. There were quite a few occasions when I needed to get in contact with the manager, but couldn't.
All in all, the property is pretty attractive. The groundskeeping is nice. There are some improvement that need to be made to the apartment homes themselves.
