This is my first review and I am posting itto give an honest opinion of the complex.
Parking
Parking is Great here. There is always spots in the back and along the street. You will find no problems finding a place for yourself or your friends. Only problem is that the street sweeper comes once a week and you get a ticket if you forget to move you car to the back packing area.
Noise
I personally had never had any problems with noise. Generally it is very quiet.
Grounds
The landscaping is really nice here. Lots of trees and grass. It is very nice.
Safety
Buena Park is not the most safe area. I would say a couple times a week you will see suspect looking people around. There is an occasional break in into a car or two. I saw the police come and rope off the area one time and bring in the detectives. Usually that means a rape or a murder. But I don't know for sure. I have never seen a security officer here, not sure if they hired security. There is a small homeless community that lives in the immediate area and pathway. You will often see them going through the dumpsters, but they will not give you any problems. Overall though i wouldnt say it is more dangerous then any other community around here. I personally have never any safety issues here.
Construction.
This is an old complex so stuff will tend to break. The maintenance is very fast and will show up to fix the little things. Bigger stuff that they can not repair will take awhile and you may need to constantly remind the office to call some to fix it. Heaters and Air Conditioners take forever to get fixed. But the onsite maintenance is great.
Pests.
There are ants here like you would not believe. Do not leave anything on your counter tops or there will be ants in quick. I was told they have someone spray for ants once a week but I doubt this.
Staff.
The black lady is very nice as is the Asian lady. The maintenance people are all great too. The only one I was not fond of was the plump white lady who does the leasing. She is not very polite and is a terrible listener.
People
You must like Koreans to live here. I personally have no problem with Koreans, but some people don't like them. If you don't like them, then you will not like living here as the majority of the tenants and the area is Korean. Also most of you neighbors will speak little to no English.
