01/10/14 by kris_k_kringle@hotmail.com: One of the most unique and beautiful apartments in Burbank, located on a tree-lined street is now the UGLIEST apartment in the City. Some SENILE or otherwise INCOMPETENT manager elected to DESTROY this once beautiful building's design with cartoonish YELLOW paint. Absolutely a DISGUSTING eyesore for all, residents and visitors alike! more

04/30/13 by SayWhatWhat: I've lived here close to six and have been generally pleased. The neighborhood is pleasant, the neighbors for the most part are courteous and the grounds are clean. The management has been more than helpful. I've only had one issue and the manager resolved it quickly. If you want to live in Burbank I highly recommend MCV. more

02/15/14 by anonymous: When I moved in, we were IN LOVE with the apartment. The facility looked great, and the property manager, Carla, seemed really friendly and attentive. We needed 2 parking spots for our vehicles, but our unit was only assigned 1. Carla promised that we'd be able to add an additional spot at a later date, as she recently took over as manager and didn't know exactly more

04/25/14 by BobbyB2014: I've lived here for 10 years now. I can definitely say it has gotten worse every year. I just received my "Thanks for being a resident for 10 years" letter and they gave me two options. I could sign a new 1 year lease for an increase of "only" 10% of my current rent, or I could stay month to month for a 15% increase. In 10 years I've never missed a single months more

09/23/11 by anonymous: I lived here for about 2.5 years. At first it was great. We got a great deal on an un-renovated apartment. Then we decided to move into one of their newly renovated units. Things seemed fine for the first 10 months, then we got a notice of rent increase. They wanted us to sign a new year lease, otherwise they would raise our rent by $800 per month!!! But by signing a new lease they would more

07/28/09 by anonymous: I am not kidding you when I say that this place will drive you absolutely insane with problems. GUARANTEED to be the worst renting experience of your life. Where shall I start? First, don't let the somewhat decent landscaping and signs in the front of the building fool you. It s just a fa ade to lure you in. The lobby s have recently been remodeled and that again is a fa ade because if more

02/04/10 by anonymous: I wish I could give this place less than 1 star :( Pro List: 1. Nice Neighbors... luckily 2. Central Air.. that is VERY loud. 3. Workout Center (That only has 4 machines and a piece of crap old weight machine) 4. Laundry on Every Floor... (this really is my favorite part.. sad huh) 5. 02/05/13 by anonymous: I recently moved into Avalon Burbank and could not have been happier with the courtesy and professionalism of the staff. I needed a place immediately and the move in process was efficent and easy. My first impression was a good one and so far my experience has been too. more

08/24/12 by judithenders@gmail.com: Recently, I read an article in the New York Times about a fantastic sounding senior community. http://opinionator.blogs.nytimes.com/2012/08/15/for-healthy-aging-a-late-act-in-the-footlights/ I was very excited about this possibility as I am a single senior woman on a limited income and enjoy writing and painting. I have also been living in Burbank with my daughter and her partner and more

02/05/07 by b0pp: A 2 story, 9 unit building. No manager on site, so you have to either mail in your rent or drop it off during business hours (no drop-box at the time I lived there) on 1st street in Burbank, so that was kind of a pain in the ass. I had an end unit, so only one neighbor, but you could hear things through the walls when people got rowdy. Enough parking for everybody and moderate more
