Do not rent at the Avalon Apartment From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 4/26/2004 Years at this apartment: 2004 - 2004   If we had read the reviews before we moved in, we would have looked else where. You are paying top dollar for a third world apartment. Management does not fix your problems. There was a big mold issue in the bathroom and they did not fix it for one month. Smoke alarms in un-rented apartments will not shut off for weeks. Their is no insulation in these units and on hot days your bedroom will stay at 90 degrees at night. They have a crapy hole in the wall underpowered air conditioner in the living room from the 60 that does not work. The walls are paper thin and you hear everything the neighbor does. If they wake up at 5 in the morning then you will too. The water pipes in the bathrooms and kitchen are loud and if the neighbor is cooking in their kitchen forget about it. A lot of the people that walk their dogs in the building do not clean up after it. So watch out for the dog ----. Please stay away from this crapy place.
