A scary place From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 3/5/2007 Years at this apartment: 2007 - 2007   I had seen this site before I went to Avalon for a tour and I wondered if people were exaggerating the conditions there - I'm here to say, no, they were not. There were kids running around the pool areas and throwing things at each other from the balconies. At one of the buildings, the rental guy I was with didn't have the key code, and had to ask three or four residents walking by before he found one who spoke English and could respond to his request to let us in. The model unit was OK looking but pretty generic and the bedroom was teeny tiny. I could not get out of here fast enough.
