I read this site before signing, but not paid much attention to it. I should have...
It is located in a convenience area. This apt could be nice if they have a good maintenance and don't over charge.
All reps are nice and quick when you sign and you would expect the service.
However, they have over 600 units and only 10 maintenances working there. We had a disaster of A/C leaking from the ceiling. They decided not to show up to fix and finally fixed the next summer. Even with the move out inspection, they didn't show up. We cleaned our place very well and any owner would be appreciated. But not Avalon. They will charge cleaning AND carpet cleaning for every tenant at the time of move out which they don't tell you cleary at the time of signing the lease. And they even charge us for grouting for the bathroom. The 2nd shower has very bad air circulation (they probably never cleaned the air filter), the grout had to be redone a couple of times for 2 years. Even so, they charge for the tenant. Ended up charged us about $350. If rented less than 2 years, they would charge for painting. Also you will be charged for water/hot water by unit/# of occupants for every 3 months. Thank god, we moved not to deal with them anymore.
