This building was taken over by new ownership late last year in 2006. Since then, the complex has gone directly downhill. The new ownership is raising rent without improvements, charging some trumped up charge for water and sewage that none of the other apartments in this area charge, repairs are not reported to maintenance, not completed and the staff is NEVER AVAIABLE. This used to be a community complex, but not anymore. The new management is non responsive, from the manager level, up through the corporate level. They will not address your concerns or issues.
Equity does not care about people: it cares about a profit margin. The sad thing is: the very reason this property was purchased, they are slowly destroying. I guess when they completing turn this complex into a revolving door, cheap apartment building, then they can sell and more on to destroy another property.
Tenants have tried talking, calling and even writing to the corporate office. Calls are not answered and not returned, letters or emails are ignored.
If I ever rent again and see the name Equity on the building, I will turn and run!
