Looks Good From The Street

The Oaks looks good from the street. The apartments are decent but overpriced. The hot and cold tubs are always broken and no one is in a hurry to fix things. The same can be said for the washers and dryers. There are eight machines for the whole complex, and usually half of them are out of order at any one time. The advertised fitness center is a joke, with several pieces of equipment, but always out of order. People aren't very friendly, if you want to live in a big apartment and never have to say hello to anyone you've come to the right place.
Theft in the garage is rampant, many break-ins and the management looks the other way rather than take measures to curb crime. Apartment manager says no crime or break-ins have ever occured yet Burbank police records show not only thefts but a shooting out in front of the building several years ago.
