AVOID THIS SAD RIPOFF!

When I moved in it was terrific, and everyone enjoyed living here. Now the management company (Anchor Pacifica) is running the place into the ground. WHILE CLAIMING THAT THEY WILL, THEY REFUSE TO RENEW LEASES TO NOT HAVE ANY RESPONSIBILITY TO TENENTS, AND TO HAVE THE ABILITY TO THROW OUT ANYONE THEY DON'T LIKE! THEY ALSO USE THIS 'POWER' TO UNEXPECTEDLY RAISE RENTS WITHOUT WARNING! (Rents have been known to be upped unreasonable amounts!) They constantly make promises to all of the tenents that are unkept, just like the paint outside and the carpets and paint inside. On numerous occasions people have been told that we have 'gated' parking, but not secure parking. (What the hell is that supposed to mean! (It means that since the gates are broken very often, they are refusing to take any responsibility to the tenents.) CARS ARE BROKEN IN TO A FEW TIMES A YEAR! At this exact moment, no saunas work, (as a matter of fact, at least one has been converted into a storage area for the office!), one of the garage gates is broken (open), and their is weather stains on the outdated paint outside the apartment all over the complex. On-site management gives you a false smile, lip service, and a lie to keep you quiet as long as they can.
Many of my neighbors have plans to move as soon as the 'expected' rent increase hits them. We are paying a premium for a shoddy unprofessionally kept mess that was a really nice place to live when we moved in.
HIGH TURNOVER, ANTI-COMMUNITY EFFORTS BY MANAGEMENT! (When I moved in, community meetings were common, and encouraged!) Living here is like a bad bait and switch. I had a nice year, then management changed, and now there is dissatisfied tenents everywhere. I don't know of ANYONE who is happy here. I do know of many people who WERE satsifed prior to the current management.
Don't chance it and be screwed like the rest of us!
Overall, this is too bad. The complex is in a great location, and could be/was a great place to live if management ran it for the tenents and not the company/banks.
ALSO, the only unchangable hinderance to living here is that the complex is RIGHT next to a fire station and random 24 hour fire alarms are common.
