Safe and quiet location, but not really worth the price

I lived here for two years and had a real varying opinion about this place.
PROS: Safe and quiet location, located next to a few major studios (if you work there), friendly neighbors, lets you co-sign a lease.
CONS: Pricey, wacky lease, rude staff (with a few exceptions), a lot of kids living there alone and unsupervised.
When you had a problem, usually the staff was extremely rude (although a few were extremely nice, go figure). When asking for even the smallest service, I was generally ignored.
There were A LOT of unsupervised teengagers running around at night, drinking and having parties in the pool area.
The lease was really odd as well. I had to give 60 days notice in order to move out. This left me in an awkard position. I had to give my notice and THEN hope to heaven that I could find a place within that time. In Southern California, it's not that easy.
The apartments did come with a refrigerator and a stove, but they were from 1970's and always having problems. Also, the building was very old there was this sewage smell throughout the hallways.
Come to think of it, I'm really glad I left!
