I moved into the Royal Equestrian at the beginning of November 2005,it seemed like a nice place to live at first but shortly after the first month of living here it became pretty obvious that I'd made a big mistake.First they came in to replace all the pipes in the kitchen and bathroom which meant they had to cut through the walls, they said it would only take a day or two to do this but the truth is it took over a week. After the pipes were replaced it took two more weeks before they sent some one in to patch up the holes they had cut in the walls and now almost six months later they told me yesterday that they have to redo the pipes again. In January they decided to replace all the windows and sliding glass doors and that they were going to be working in my apartment on so and so day and I needed to move everything away from the windows so they could work and if I did not move my things that they would move them but it would cost me.So the night before they were scheduled to replace my windows I dragged my desk and computer and everything else away from the windows and the next morning got up early to wait for them and of course they never showed up,it was about four days later that I saw one of the workers in the hall and pulled them into my apartment to get the work done which only took them less than two hours to complete. Now lets talk about the office staff, the women who work in the office are completely worthless and could care less about anything other than getting the apartments rented. They forget to mention that the building has termites, the under ground parking structure is cracked and leaks badly when it rains, half the washers and dryers don't work, the permits for the elevators are expired and break down almost every other day,the building is supposed to be locked but hardly ever is,there is a computer room that has a couple computers in it for the tenants to use but a few weeks ago someone managed to walk off with them even though there are cameras in the building. Now lets talk about the tenants for a moment, some of them are older people who have been here the longest and are real nice, they are quiet and never bother anyone, then you got the child actors and their annoying stage mothers, then you've got the drug dealers and drunks, they put their trash in the hallways instead of taking it down to the dumpster. And a couple more things I should mention is about two months after moving in here I got a bill from some company in Florida for water and trash service which the Royal Equestian reglects to tell you about when you move in,also if you want cable television, forget it you can only get directv here but you can't have your own dish, you have to lease the equiptment through the company that owns the broken down washers and dryers here cause if you try to have your own directv dish installed they will take it down.

Hi! I think I know you. You were the one that called me one evening because I had a repair note posted on my door. Is this you? Did you resolve your issue with them? I am trying to get my security deposit back, they ripped me off! mickiking@sbcglobal.net
