I have very good reason not to like THE ROYAL EQUESTRIAN. Instead of refunding my security deposit, they billed me additional $256.92! They sent me a phony invoice for $60 carpet cleaning, which I am pretty sure I can prove is fake. They have no good reason to bill for the remaining $196.92. My poor mother scraped money to pay for the REFUNDABLE security deposit; $750 of honest hard earned money which they have decided is theirs for the keeping. I will fight this to the bitter end!
THE ROYAL EQUESTRIAN has no right to hold my security deposit. I left that apartment spotless, and there was nothing that could be conidered beyond "normal wear and tear". I am not the first person not receive their security deposit back. The last person I know of actually painted their walls, had the carpets cleaned and THE ROYAL EQUESTRIAN still found some excuse to steal the money.
They pulled my Direct TV cable and stole my dish without any prior notification. They had all kinds of excuses for their lying theivery. I was a premium Direct TV good paying customer! Direct TV refunded my money. My comments about THE ROYAL EQUESTRIAN staff: incompetent, disrespectful, deceitful lying sad people.
I now live in a VERY LARGE one bedroom w/fireplace located 1/2 block from THE ROYAL EQUESTRIAN on the same street for $850 a month. This is a $325 savings a month from the rent they were going to charge me for what they considered a "re-model". And THE ROYAL EQUESTRIAN managment said they are charging market rate! Boy what a bunch of horse crap!

I echo your opinion about this ------ apartment. They are the worst leasing management I have ever dealt with, very dishonest and unreliable. I am finally out of that place. I will not recommend anybody to move there. They really suck you dry the moment when you sign a lease with them. I am okay with it if that is a great place to be, but it is the cheapest building I have ever lived and the worst leasing managers I ever had.

Right now, I'm staying THE ROYAL EQUESTRIAN. I'm fighting with roaches every day. every minutes, I see roaches anywhere in my room.

Shame on you Micki...you should really edit your comment because you told me you received a large refund after all and it was a mix-up. Also, I saw your place for $850 down the street, but it's definitely not comparable to my apartment here. The place you moved to has blue carpet and is very dated. In fact all the other places I've seen in the area old and dated. I'm definitely staying here.
