The building has been completely renovated and the new mng co JPI has really lovely professional people working in the office there. I had small service requests which were carried out the next day. The maintenance staff is really nice too, they are always working on something in the complex and are building a new gym right now. I was having a hard time finding a building that takes small dogs and was very happy to find The Jefferson. The pet deposit is reasonable. They have two doggie areas complete with bags and disposal bins. It's nice to see other tenants with their animals, they all seem responsible for their animals, there are no stains anywhere on the carpets. The maintenance guys clean the building like every day I run into them cleaning. I love my apartment layout, the paint colors and carpets are really nice. The kitchen has nice new white cabinets and granite counters everywhere. The kitchen comes with new appliances (microwave, oven, dishwasher, refrigerator). I think the rent is reasonable and I'm really happy to be in the best area with the best walking, stores, schools and freeway access. I do not work for JPI - I'm an actual tenant. If you come to the leasing office and ask for Elena, I told them I would come down to say Hello. I read the other reviews, but I think thats before JPI took over the complex - you have to see for yourself.

No, JPI is the worst management this building has had. They're rude, they never reply to service requests, they illegally enter apartments, they constantly forget to give notice when servicing the building. And the building has been under constant construction since JPI took over. Oh, and the carpet is stained from vomit, dog feces/pee and construction. Try walking on the second floor.

This is so obviously written by management. No one here is that happy. - nasty, rude, arrogant, perhaps, but happy? No.
