Where to begin...' Forgive me if I ramble on, but this is also the draft letter that is going to the management company, and I need to get all of this off my chest. Also, please be aware that all of this is just HIGHLIGHTS of my oh-so-fun experiences of the last 3 (yes, only three) weeks that I have been living here. We can start with the day that we looked at the apt, a beautiful Sunday morning. Greeted by a very friendly and seemingly knowledgeable ASS. Manager and we sat and chatted. She was very excited about her upcoming wedding and wanted to share all of the details. We talked, looked at 3 different apartments, chatted some morea very pleasant experience. We decided on an apartment, and went back to look at it again and talk by ourselves. While in the apartment alone, we noted some things that we wanted fixed or replaced, a short list, really. The place needed to be painted, and cleaned, the stove needed to be replacednothing extravagant at all!!! We filled out all the paper work, left our deposit check, got a move in date and went out for a drink to celebrateit is also our first apartment together and we were very please at how easy it all was going. AND THEN IT HAPPENED The week before I was to move in I got a call from an office assistant saying that they still needed a copy of my social security cardSorry, look again. That was provided the day we left the deposit. Never heard another word about that. The day before I was to move in, I drove over with my Bank Check, expecting to pick up the keys so we could start first thing in the morning. A temp greeted me and, how shall I put this' Have you seen the current season of Big Brother' Do you know who Holly is' Yeah, thats the NEW ASS. Manager. (we still havent gotten to the Manager that is an ASS). I ask where the other ASS. Manager is and I was told that after her wedding, she simply didnt come back. Strange, but ok, lets move on. So, I leave my check, and my license (cuz ya cant go to the apartment with out leaving itI thought that was what the $2300 check I just handed her was for') and off I go to my brand new apartment that was going to be our first apartment. NIGHTMARE!!! NOTHING HAS BEEN CLEANED, NOTHING HAS BEEN PAINTED, THE STOVE HAS NOT BEEN REPLACED OR FIXED, THE FRONT DOOR LOCK DOESNT WORK, THE CARPET IS RIPPED, THE SLIDING SCREEN HAS NO HANDLE, THE TOILET HAS URINE ON IT, THE TUB IS LEAKING.on and on and on. Actually worse that when we initially looked at it 3 weeks prior. I get Holly to come up to the apartment to see what Im talking about.NIGHTMARE!!!! She tried to open the broiler pan on the stove and it came off in her hand. She passed off all of the cleaning issues as nothing drastic and it we can have that cleaned in a few days, dont worry about the paint, just put that in your initial walk through report, and on and on it went. So, I tell her, at least get someone in to clean the bathrooms, and well work around the rest of it for now. NOPE!! Shes not even smart enough to call Merry Maids to come in for a quickie, or at least take care of it herself. The response was just bleach the hell out of everything. Im not joking here, thats what she said. Moving day!!! I am forced to sign the lease before I am allowed to move even one box on the property. But I figure, thats okMy Guys lawyer can get us out of just about anything, so, no worries. I sign and start moving in. Then My Guy shows up. Not happy, and actually refuses to sign the lease until he has a sit down with the Manager that is an ASS. Moving, moving, moving. Everything is in, the bed is put together and its time to get ready for bed, our first night, in our first apartment togetherguess what happened then' Nope, not what you are thinkingknow why' Because we still had to bleach the hell out of everything so we could take showers, so we could go to bed. There I was, 10:30 at night, our first night, in our first apartment together, cleaning the bathrooms so we could go to bed. Not Fun, and no fun after either. Toilet cleaning is not good foreplay. Days 2: My Guy and the Manager that is an ASS spend lots of quality time together, picking apart the 30 efing page lease. And despite what the first ASS. Manager told us the day we left our initial deposit, water is not included in the rent. Still no stove, no cleaning crew, no paintingbut the front door lock is fixed. Days 3-7: Pretty much the SOS. We finally did get the maintance guy to come in and wipe down the kitchen cabinets and toss up a coat of paint on them, but that was it. Still no stoveit appears that Sears has a really bad fleet of trucks because they kept breaking down. However, Holly, the new ASS Manager has presented us with a gift card for all of the trouble that we have been through.OH PLEASE!! What can she due about the 5 extra pounds on my ass because Ive been eating take out for 2 weeks' Somewhere in this first week, Im out walking the dog and bump into one of my new neighbors. Very sweet girl. She fills me in on all the dirt. NOW it gets fun. It seems that the first ASS Manger that we met on our very first trip here did indeed return from getting married, and went crazy 2 days later. Cops, ambulance, fireeveryone was here!! And off she went. Her and the new hubby moved right out immediately. As for the condition of my apartment from when I first looked at it to when I moved in' Easy to explaine!! A few of the kids THAT LIVE IN THE COMPLEX had broken in and were hanging out in here. Did management call the cops' NOOOO!! The neighbors had to. Nice, hu' And, oh, by the way, the on-site pet sitting service that I was so excited about' DONT USE IT. Apparently the dogs are allowed to run around the complex, unleashed and unsupervised. Wouldnt have believed it if I hadnt seen it myself. One of the smaller dogs squeezed itself under the gate and went for a stroll on the street. Somewhere around Day 10, we got a stove. Finally. Somewhere around Day 11 we had problems with our Direct TV (Ive seen comments in previous reviewsheres the poop). Im sorry that Town Center has a contract with Direct TV, but I do not. There is nothing in my lease that requires me to have Direct TV. Direct TV tells us that the equipment is supposed to be maintained and managed by the Manager that is an ASS. He says thats not the case. He said/he said is not a fun game to play. Dont know the entire story with that yet, still unfolding. Cablevision says they CAN service this building. The Manager that is an Ass says that they cant. Since there have been nothing but temps or Holly working in the office, I cant get a strait answer on that question either. But the office told me that the only phone service that I could have was SBC, and that is not the case either. I have a different home phone provider. Sothere is still a list of things that need to be done and havent been done and will be done. Im not holding my breath, blue is not my color. One last commentthe 2 favorite dogs in the complex suck. They are not well behaved and bark constantly, even during quiet time. I find that if you yell at them they will quiet down. My advice to all that are considering, FIND SOMEPLACE ELSE. The draw for me was the fact that they took pets, but I could have found something else. I was lied to and this place was misrepresented.

yeah, unfortunately we had to deal with crazy Jen (asst. manager). Dancing naked in the streets, bargin in on tenants in their apartments, scaring people half to death with her predictions of a major earthquake over TC not to mention her state of neurosis as she said someone took her twins from her body.....we heard it all.... She wouldn't leave this one girl alone. I heard she and her crazy husband was knocking on this poor girls door at 2a.m.....It was one of the reasons I left.....too much drama! Freaky things began after Jacks suicide.
