Towncenter apartments may look nice on the outside ( when it is not raining that is) but I have never lived in a more poorly built and evenmore poorly run aparment. We were one of those tennants who got compleltey flooded out of our apartment. We had a lake in our bedroom literally. I called up the corporate office and told them this and he had the nerve to say that he wasn't sure it was inhabitable. Finally they moved us to a model apartment, which turned out to be even worse except it wasn't as obvious. It was leaking in four areas so the carpet got soaked three feet in in the bedroom, dining room and front door. All they did was put up plastic around the outside which came down right away. Once the rain stopped they replaced the padding in just a tiny area were it had been wet and never replaced the carpet (who knows how long this carpet has been in this place) Its been over 3 months since we moved into this new apartment and they still have not fixed anything! When the rain stops they will replace a little padding and then life will go on as usual UNTIL it rains again. I should also mention that our kitchen light only works sometimes, the bathtub actually leaks and either the toilet leaks or sweats excessively to cause puddles. There is now mold visible on walls (even though I am sure it was in the carpet forever) I wake up with sinus headaches every day. We should of not paid the rent until it was fixed but I did not know my rights until now. We heard that there are over 50 complaints from residents.
