Ok everyone.......I actually took the time to go to this site yesterday (after ENDLESS phone calls and e-mails had been sent to me from current residents here at Town Center; regarding a review that was obviously partially directed at me. I finally took the time to write a "review" myself; after being TOTALLY shocked at what some of the other former/current residents had written.
Before I begin, I want to thank the wonderful 12 clients I have, who live here at Town Center and are HAPPY living here and...... am elated as to their appreciation for the true love and care I provide for their "babies." NEVER (until reading one of the previous "reviews") have I EVER received ANY type of criticism or negativity in my job performance and....I personally don't think that this website was created to be used as a place to vent our anger or feelings toward other residents or manangement.
If you have a problem, I think it would be MUCH easier (and more respectful) for one to confront that individual(s) and discuss the situation in a mature manner. For the record, if this individual wants to believe he "fired" me; that's fine with me. That's NOT how it went but, I am NOT one to try to "get back at someone" and... for the record, DID try to discuss his concerns with him but......after having the door slammed on me and being hung up on countless times, I realized it just wasn't worth it. I, for one, am NOT one to "have to stoop so low" and air all of my frustrations on sites as this. Again, I thank all of you who truly believe and see me with your babies and truly appreciate the care that I provide for your "babies."
Ok, in regards to the management; again, why use this site as a "sounding board" to vent your feelings' It would be SOOOOOO much easier to just pop in the office or at that person's apt. to discuss the situation. I THINK this site is SUPPOSED to be used to express our likes and dislikes about the community as a whole BUT....NOT to endlessly write unfair, untrue and oh-so-critical and cruel things about anyone; mgmt., maintenance or residents (and ESPECIALLY not to write specific names during your "venting."
People log onto this site to read comments about how people feel about living here; NOT to read childish bickering about this person or that one.
Yes, many of you know me here and, yes, I, myself, have seen countless management employees and maintenance workers come and go. I, myself, have had a wonderful relationship with ALL management employees. (and no, I am in NO way related to anyone at Selby Mgmt.) For those of you who find a "thrill" in cutting anyone and everything down about Town Center, why don't you just find somewhere else to live' (as someone else suggested in another review). NO ONE is FORCING you to stay here and..... remember, the current management came here right after(or during)the endless downpours and torrential nonstop rains. Ofcourse they are going to be bombarded with complaints of leaks etc....but; I can guarentee you; I have several clients who manage other properties in the Burbank area and they too, were faced with the same problems. Yes, I miss BJ,Stacy and Jodi as well but......remember; they are gone and...it is SOOOOO useless to keep referring to them as amazing etc.... Yes, I, myself DID love them but.....before you decide to lash out at the current mgmt., why don't you ATLEAST give them a CHANCE'''' Again, if you need to vent your miseries somewhere, this site is NOT the place to do so. Go for a run, take a walk, go work out in the gym but.....this senseless bickering has gone WAY too far.
Believe me, if it was THAT bad here, I would have moved out a year ago. I, myself, worked in Property Mgmt. for 7 years and finally had to face the realization that, you are NEVER; as hard as you try, going to be able to please EVERYONE. Some people just enjoy having someone to ----- at or "put down." Well, take your frustrations out somewhere else. For those of you who are SOOOO unhappy with the current mgmt.; think about this. Do you ever see them taking smoke breaks every hour' Aren't they in the office at 9:00am (or even BEFORE) on a daily basis' Wouldn't YOU yourself feel the need to evict certain residents if their OWN children were spraying grafitti all over OUR community'''''''
So, in closing, again, I thank everyone here(well, almost everyone!) for making MY life so enjoyable in living here. Hats off to the new mgmt. I personally think you are amazing (especially becuase I have been in your shoes and had have had to face evicitions etc...which, truly are NOT pleasant)so............why don't we ATLEAST let them have a fair chance in doing their jobs' They weren't just "picked up off the street" and placed here. They were put here for a specific reason; NOT TO MAKE FRIENDS AND ALLOW ENDLESS RESIDENTS "ONE MORE CHANCE" TO PAY THEIR RENT ON TIME......They are here as professionals and should be treated as such. Having worked in the business, I know just HOW important "vacancy rates" are to the owners but.....wouldn't you rather live in a community that is safe and secure and NOT infested with people who break, destroy or damage the property itself'
Believe me, I KNOW that within a few months, this property will be TOTALLY filled (and with residents you would WANT to be friends with and socialize; not ignore think what they may do to you).
I am SURE I will be receiving ENDLESS feedback as to my opinions but......before you decide to write those harsh criticism's,....remember, we all live here "together" and should try (or for some of us, atleast ATTEMPT to try" to make Town Center the wonderful place it is and.... to have a SUPER 2005!!!!!!

I have attempted to post my response to your WONDERFUL AND SO HONEST AND UP-FRONT "review" but have yet to see my "repsonse" posted. Just know, that MANY of us applaud you for FINALLY airing your feelings and, know, that along the same line, we couldn't agree with you more. Thank you Debbie......you TRULY are a blessing to so many of us here.

You may be able to fool some people, but there are a few of us who know the REAL you.
The fact is this is a place to express your feelings about the community as a whole. I'm sure those who read them will not want to live at TC because everyone has chosen to be infantile. If you have a problem, confront the issue....if the barking is a problem, speak to the owners. Life is too short to be so narrow-minded!
