When I first moved into the complex, it wasn't too bad. The property manager revolving door became quickly apparent, and it was curious that they stopped heating the pool allegedly due to the energy crisis, even though Burbank did not actually ever experience an energy crisis.
The record keeping was a little lax. I received a notice every few months for the first two years asking me which parking space I was parking in (the one in my lease), but apparently the property managers stopped assigning parking spaces on leases for some period of time. This eventually did get straightened out. I did live there for over a year without a lease. Property management would periodically leave voicemails asking about my intentions without ever informing me of what my options, i.e., new lease rates.
Security wasn't all that great as someone broke into my car while it was in the parking deck.
Maintenance wasn't bad, although it was most typically band-aids to quickly remedy a situation.
My biggest complaint became the residents. During my last year, I was frequently waken in the middle of the night by people having parties by the pool at 1 or 2 am--on weeknights as well as weekends. In fact, I was awakened one morning at about 5 am by a couple having sex on one of the chaise lounges. Property management did little to prevent anyone from using the pool during the alleged closed hours from 10 pm to 8 am. Despite being self-proclaimed luxury apartments, it seemed like a lot of college kids (or maybe just college-minded adults) were moving in.
Needless to say, I moved out when my last lease expired.

Bravo to you!!!!!!!!!! Yes, this place is a TOTAL dump. If ANYONE is even CONTEMPLATING moving in here; take a walk around the place. Notice how the majority of apartments are vacant. Mine too will soon be vacant and cannot WAIT to get out of this dump. Also notice the type of people who live here. All you'll see are teenagers and college kids whose major priority is to party all night and keep everyone else up too.
I too, have witnessed underaged individuals at the pool past midnight and they are carrying on like a bunch of animals; waking me up constantly.
The manangement here is NOT management. They are a bunch of brainless, helpless fools who obviously have never worked in this business. Just TRY to ask them something or have something fixed. It'll never get done. (that is, if you can actually get into the mgmt. office.) I think with THREE people working here; ONE could atleast be there for a FEW hours. I have gone down there on SEVERAL occasions and on MANY days; only to find no one there. Office hours??? There aren't any; they're always "out to lunch".
My car too, was broken into. Why? Because ANYONE and EVERYONE can get into this hell-hole because the entry locks are always broken.
Keep driving; find somewhere that employees individuals who are approachable, who don't let every Tom, ---- and Harry rent here and......who are personable and atleast MAKE AN ATTEMPT to be in the office for one hour of the day.

I've said it before and I will say it again. I can't agree more! One thing I still don't quite get.. if there are three people in the office why do they always have to go to lunch at the same time? I still will never quite understand it. And the people they are letting in.. complete bums. I think my downstairs neighbor is a drug dealer. I have to keep my windows sealed shut so I don't smell him smoking weed on his balcony. My apartment will soon be vacant as well!!! If anyone is moving here.. look at the reviews.. DO NOT MOVE HERE!

My thoughts EXACTLY. They are letting TOTAL bums off the street in; just so it looks as if SOMEONE lives here.
Regarding the "out to lunch" office staff; well, that's just what they are 24/7; OUT TO LUNCH. NO ONE is EVER in that office. How the hell do they expect to rent any of these now mostly vacant apartments if there is no one there to let them in? Oh; I know; it's becasue they can get in through any of the outside doors due to the broken locks EVERYWHERE.
Drugs???? If you're looking for them as someone else wrote; just come on in and I'm sure someone will be offering you them within minutes.
This HAS turned into a total DUMP; it's dirty; the office staff is just the worst; and; if you DO happen to catch someone actually IN the office; it's probobly one of the maintenance men. Oh wait; I forgot, they got rid of those 2 HARD WORKING men All I can say is..........two more months and I'm out'a here. This place is worse than hell.
DO NOT MOVE HERE UNLESS YOU ARE AN ADDICT; NEED A FULL-TIME SUPPLY OF DRUGS; WANT TO SEE PEOPLE HAVING SEX IN THE POOL AFTER HOURS AND BOOM BOXES PLAYING AT ALL HOURS OF THE DAY AND NIGHT.

Yes, Town Center DOES SUCK. I got SOOOO "taken" by that stupid office staff. Now I'm stuck in a lease and having to deal with that SOOOOO VERY incompetant office personnel, broken washers and dryers, LOUD music during BOTH the day and night, the scent of drugs while going out to even take a walk (if only, to get away from this hell-hole), dirty, filthy and trash-littered areas ALL OVER THE COMMUNITY, a pool that is scummy and...hearing my neighbors complain about the SAME things.
If ONLY I had known about this site, NEVER would I have moved here. Do the residents even WORK and have JOBS here?(aside from being drug dealers and pimps) It seems as though everyone is on Social Security.
All I can say is, that office staff SURE knows how to "cover up" all the "real-ness" of this property when one is taking that "wonderful" tour of the property.
Office hours??????? I've ATTEMPTED to go speak with atleast ONE of the people who work there for the last several days. Seems as though they have better things to do than to do their jobs. That office is NEVER EVER open.
I HATE it here; anyone who needs a dump to live in where; apparently, they don't run credit or have ANY criteria for allowing people to move in and.......for those pot smokers out there, than THIS is the place to come. It actually resembles a fraternity house, but even WORSE.
NEED I SAY ANYMORE?????? I'm TOTALLY disgusted and can't WAIT until I can talk to one of those owners of this place who; just like the office staff, NEVER seem to be around or know how to return a phone call.
As someone else wrote, keep driving everyone.........go ANYWHERE else; if it's peace and quiet and comfort you desire. If it's drugs and rock and roll at all hours of the day, then you may want to pop by.

THIS PLACE IS A TOTAL DUMP; DIRTY, FILTHY AND MOST OF ALL, AN OFFICE STAFF WHO IS NEVER EVEN IN THE OFFICE AND, IN THAT 1/2 HOUR THAT THEY ARE; SPEAK TO YOU (AFTER FAKING IT AND BEING SO NICE TO YOU WHILE VIEWING THE PROPERTY)TREAT EVERYONE HERE LIKE DIRT; AS IF THEY NOW HAVE YOU RENTING AN APT. FROM THEM AND THAT'S ALL THEY WANTED. WE KNOW AND CAN SEE THERE ARE ENDLESS VACANT APARTMENTS HERE; WHY NOT ATLEAST ATTEMPT TO BE NICE AND CIVIL TO YOUR RESIDENTS????
WE USED TO LIVE AT ANOTHER COMPLEX AND ARE SOOOOOOOO HORRIFIED BY THIS PLACE. DO NOT MOVE HERE; DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE FAKENESS OF THE OFFICE STAFF AT YOUR INITIAL MTG. YOU WILL REGRET IT BEYOND BELIEF.

WE'D BE BETTER OFF LIVING OFF THE STREETS SOMEWHERE; ATLEAST IT WOULD BE QUIET AND WE, OURSELVES, WOULDN'T BE GETTING HIGH FROM THE ENDLESS FUMES OF DRUGS FUMING ALL OVER THE PROPERTY BOTH DAY AND NIGHT.
BROKEN BEER BOTTLES, THE SCENT OF MARIJUANA EVERWHERE; SHAME ON YOU; WHOEVER MANAGES THIS TRASHY PLACE. YOU SHOULD ATLEAST DO THE MINIMUM AND ATTEMPT TO MAKE THE PLACE MORE COMFORTABLE FOR PEOPLE LIKE US AND ENDLESS NEIGHBORS WHO ONLY WISH THEY COULD MOVE OUT AND HAVE SOME PIECE OF MIND.
