I can only agree with the previous reviews. Don't let that nice main building fool you. The Arlington is very poorly managed and the on-site manager has a high turn-over rate. For an entire year, I repeatedly requested a new carpet. The carpet was more than 7 years old and looked it! I ended up moving, primarily because of the management. They will not work with you. Right before the rental market tanked in beginning of 2001, they had the nerve to raise my rent! The buildings have no soundproofing, you can hear your neighbors on the phone, snoring, you name it. If you happen to get one of the apartments in the baracs in the back like me, the summers are unbearable. The temperature got so high at times that the cork came out of my wine bottles. The court yard in between the building is like an ecco tube and carries every sound made. The windows are those metal ones that don't form a tight seal. They finally replaced the washers and dryers, but you have to be an early riser to get to them on the weekend. The gate around the complex may give you a sense of security, but reality is that the side door is always broken. I could go on and on . . .
