I agree with most of what the reviewer on 6/5/01 wrote.
The Arlington Apartments are a horrible place to live. Yes, it's expensive, but the two main problems are shoddy construction and unbelievably bad management. As soon as I can move, I will.
The buildings are not soundproof at all. You hear EVERYTHING your neighbors do. I cannot believe apartments could be built like this. This would be bad enough but the management refuses to enforce any rules for behavior or quiet hours so, like in my case, if you have a noisy neighbor who thinks it's ok to blast music at 4am, the management won't do a damn thing about it.
The management cares about one thing and one thing only... making money. They not only refuse to respond to tenants' complaints, they DON'T EVEN CARE! I would love to share with you specifics but I want to remain anonymous.
DO NOT RENT AN APARTMENT AT THE ARLINGTON! I cannot stress that enough. In fact, I am so disgusted by their treatment of tenants that I will never again rent at any property owned by the G.W. Williams Co.
Other bad things: no dishwasher, cheap appliances/fixtures, totally inadequate laundry facilities, very high rent with large (10%) annual increase, no A/C and poor insulation so you freeze in the winter and bake in the summer, limited parking (more apartments than spaces, my bathroom was not clean when I moved in (gross!, frequent power outages in winter
A few good things: incredibly nice area to live, gated parking, water and trash included in rent, decent size apartment
