Truck broken into 2 times

Years at this apartment: 2001 - 2002
 
This place is "just ok" and we had one of the better units on the end and on the pond. The thing is, my truck was broken into twice in the year we lived here, and management didn't do or say anything to help other than tell me to call the police. The rent is quite high for the size of the units as well.
