THE PROPERTY MANAGMENT COMPANY CHARGES NEWER TENANTS GAS AND WATER THROUGH A THIRD PARTY UTILITIES BROKER, LOCATED IN TEXAS. YOUR GAS AND WATER IS NOT INDIVIDUALLY METERED; THEREFORE, YOU SPLIT THE COSTS WITH YOUR FELLOW NEIGHBORS. FOR A SINGLE PERSON IN A ONE BEDROOM, THE AVERAGE MONTHLY CHARGE IS $85.00 - AND THAT'S AT MINMAL USAGE. IN ADDTION TO THIS "WATER" BILLING, YOU ARE PAYING FOR YOUR PG&E UTILITIES.
THIS IS A "FAMILY" STYLED APARTMENT, WITH MANY CHILDREN AND EXTENDED FAMILIES LIVING IN A UNIT - UP TO 6 & 7 PEOPLE IN A UNIT. IF YOU'RE SINGLE, YOUR'RE SWREWED. YOU'RE SUBSIZING THE UNITS WITH THE LARGER HOUSEHOLDS. THE LARGER HOUSEHOLDS ARE NOT PAYING 5 TO 6 TIMES YOUR BILL, THUS YOU ARE SUBSIDIZING.
MANAGEMETN WILL LIE AND TELL YOU THEY DON'T UNDERSTAND THE BROKER'S BILLING SYSTEM. THEY WILL REFER YOU TO THE BROKERS UTILITY COMPANY IN TEXAS. REMEMBER, THE APARTMENT COMPLEX IS THEIR CUSTOMER, NOT YOU!!!!!!
IT'S A HUGE PROFIT MAKING WINDFALL FOR THE PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COPMAY, AND A TOTAL SCREW JOB FOR THE TENANT. IN ADDITION, IT DOESN'T BEHOOVE THE MANAGEMENT COMPANY TO MAINTAIN THE PLUMBING, BECAUSE YOU'RE PAYING FOR THE WATER LEAKS, SINCE THERE IS ONLY ONE METER. NO ONE CAN ACCOUNT FOR THE WATER USAGE, AND MANAGEMENT REFUSES TO TO SUB METER FOR INDIVIDUAL USAGE.
THIS PRACTICE IS LEGAL, BUT IT'S AN UNETHICAL AND IMMORALE WAY OF DOING BUSINESS.
THE VEIW AIN'T THAT GREAT. MOST OF THE APARTMENTS FACE HIGHWAY 280 - AND SUBJECT TO THE FREEWAY TRAFFIC. NOISE, THERE IS A CONSTANT BUZZ OF TRAFFIC, WHICH NEVER GOES AWAY, SO YOU CAN NEVER REALLY RELAX TO PEACE AND QUIET.
THEN, WAIT UNTIL YOU MOVE OUT!!!! YOU GET MORE LIES AND TALES OF, "I DON'T KNOW," AND IT'S A HASSLE TO GET YOUR DEPOSIT - UNLESS YOU KEEP NAGGING.
STAY AWAY!!!!!! MANAGEMENT AND THEIR BUSINESS PRACTICES ARE UNETHICAL. THERE IS CONSTANT NOISE FROM THE FREEWAY, ONLY A FEW APARTMENTS HAVE A VIEW, AND THE THE UTILITY COSTS ARE OUTRAGEOUS. YOU'RE BETTER OFF TO RENT SOMEWHERE ELSE - EVEN IF RENT IS MORE EXPENSIVE. THE ULITY WATER & GAS WILL COST YOU AT MINIMUM $100 PER MONTH, SO FACTOR THAT INTO YOUR RENTAL COSTS.
THIS IS A PLACE TO STAY AWAY - YOU DO NOT WANT TO RENT AND LIVE HERE. YOU WILL BE SORRY. FIND ANTOHER PLACE, YOU'LL BE GLAD YOU DID.

This reviewer is someone that is not happy with his/her life. We have been here for 2 years and we are enjoying the place and the school district. The service by the manager and the staff is excelent and I mean it. If you are near the highway you have noise. What do you expect! We pay a very low monthly fee to PG@E. I have no idea how this person came out with his water bill problem. It is much better to live hear than in a condo I owned in San Bruno.

Original poster is CORRECT. Complex charges tenants under new lease for water. Take total water bill and divide arbitrarily. Charged $200/mo for water--and only two people! Find another place!
