i had the the most ill Exp here at malibu canyons, i started a new lease and told the Apt MGR that i would do the contract and write a post dated check as it was only the 23rd of the Mo and the lease started on the 1st, i did and put it in the rent box,, come the 30th the check bounced ( i got paid on the 31st) and charged 35.00 from my bank. now this apt complex is telling me i owe them 50.00 mor for a bounced check fee...''' what the hell''' i talked to the APT mgr and was told to talk to book keeping and they told me yup thats how it is you shouldnt have put the check in the box.. now this is some low ball ---- for some one that just entered a 19000 a yr contract. . my suggestions are to take you butt to archstone and give this company a big finger !--


Well We have now left and about 6 mo later i am done with MCA
a week after we left we got a letter stating we owe 1500 for carpet replac, paint, holes,,ect Well we were told about this by our upstai neighbors ( we helped move them out and asked us to test that it was clean) Well i took pictures !!! You need to do the SAME. Had to take it up with amico prop MGT and will now be filing aginst MCA property MGT, might look into a small class action as they have went to fay,. see my apt was spotless and the photos showed it so if they were wrong about mine will they be wrong about yours...
