We lived in MCA for two years. The parking sucks, many of the spots are tandem and too close together. There are too many kids running around. If there's no kids there noisy college students.

The staff is horrible and could care less about the tenants. They would constantly ----- about little things with our apartment, parkig, stuff on the balcony, and not to mention being completely overcharged. But they never followed through on anything. I called security several times for parties going on until 2-3 in the morning and nothing ever happened. The only decent people were the maintanance staff.

It smells like sulfur in the buildings. Kids are rarely supervised in pool or play area. They changed the pool key twice when we lived there and then tried to say that we would also have to take a "pool pass" with us to prove that we were residents. Really they key doesnt prove that'

Our rent was raised by several hundred dollars after one year. We were promised that we would get a free months rent (is thats what they were offering to new tenants) when we resigned our lease. But of course that never happened.

Theres nothing around there. Theres onely one supermarket and almost anywhere else you want to go you have to get there by freeway. And the 101 is always packed. I know this is not MCA's fault but it certainly added to my hate for the place. As well as the gas stations are super expensive at that on/off ramp.

Now that we are gone we just received our letter about our security deposit. Out of the $500 deposit we owe them another $100!

I hate this place and am so glad to be gone. Yes it was very nice to look at and visit. The staff was so nice and willing to bend over backwards but after you're there they'll screw you.
