I admit I am a college student so my opinion may not matter to everyone, but I do have high expectations and the "MCA's" as we call them were great for my roommate and I! We have lived here for about 2 years now and honestly I am sad to go. Sure, you wont always see the management, but I can change a light bulb myself and really have not needed anything from them. Also, I have noticed they are trying harder, they send out a cute newsletter now. They even installed new really bright lights in the parking lots and outside apts which make me feel much safer.

It isn't too noisy, it is pretty, the pools are great, the location is great, prices are reasonable for the area, and honestly i just love it. I would totally recommend it to college students, and even families.

With respect to this anonymous reviewer, "It isn't too noisy" is a very misleading description of this property. For those of us living here that are NOT Pepperdine students, the perpetual parties, loud music and constant calls to security for college students in the pool area after hours are a big problem. Yes, they sent out a newsletter, once, that used a template provided by the main property management company with spots to put a few local-interest stories in. Nothing in it was newsworthy or timely. And yes, we can change our own light bulbs. But when your neighbor is blasting music 2 or 3 nights a week at 3 am and the managers do nothing, or your outside stair light is broken repeatedly so you slip and fall in the pitch black darkness, or your commode backs up constantly but nothing is done about it, it very quickly becomes apparent that the management here cares nothing about the residents if it inconveniences them in any way whatsoever. The best thing that could happen to the "MCAs", besides getting in some staff that cares and knows their jobs, would be for LESS of your Pepperdine buddies to move in here so we could have more mature neighbors who know how to respect those that live around them.

Ok, I'm a Pepperdine student.I think if it were college students having parties, it wouldn't bother me! Its NOT, its 13 year olds running around and screaming. WAY too many kids here with parents who dont care about them! I think the loud parties are the kids and all the crack heads they allow in HUD housing!
