For starters, the sales people are very misleading when they are trying to rent you an apartment. They will tell you anything to make the sale but it doesn't end there. Once they get you moved in, management is inept at handling problems and will avoid dealing with them at all costs. Believe me, once you're there for a couple of months you will realize how many problems there are. Your privacy and sanity will be a thing of the past. This is not a harmonious comunity but a compound for x-drug addicts and the mentally incapacitated. If for some reason you don't heed this warning and you decide to rent here anyways, stay away from the HUD building(#13). My stay at Malibu Canyon Apartments was one of the worst experiences of my life and I hope no one has to experience the hell that it is living in this "community".

WOW!!! I've had the exact same experience as you, and I am appaled at MCA. I just posted my situation and it always sounds as if we've lived the exact same experience. I wouldn't spend one more penny on this place. It's filled with the utmost disgust and nastiness as you've expressed. I'm so sorry that you had to endure what you had to endure. It's disgusting.
