I have lived here since mid December. They promised that the pool being remodeled next to my apartment would be finished by Christmas Day. Every time I asked about it, they told me "two weeks"
It was just finished two days ago.
The parking lots are cracked and disgusting. The car ports are super outdated and falling apart. The kitchens are really tiny, the sidewalks are cracked and dirty, the landscaping is poorly maintained and mostly dead, there are WAY too many kids in this complex, they run around in front of cars, one kid even ran his bike into my parked car! They are loud, jump the fences into the pool, leave garbage everywhere, and management doesnt do a thing to stop it.
Management is VERY slow to respond to ANY requests. The entire complex smells of raw sewage, and there is no security allowing regular break ins.
Maintenance workers steal from the apartments.
I can't think of ONE nice thing to say about this disgusting place, besides that I can't wait for my lease to be over, I even want to pay the fee to BREAK my lease so I don't have to live like this for another 6 months!
I used to LOVE aimco! They really really brought themselves down when they bought this place.

It seems that the problem is again management, and the new ones are worst than before,but I know the maintenance and they've been here from the beginning with the exception of a few new added people, they are the only good people who are paid by AIMCO. I don't think they steal,since I've never heard anything like or had a personal experience as such. I was not in your home so I cannot say anything. But even though they are slow to respond, and rarely show up to fix anything I still know them and think of them as good people. I've been talking to allot of neighbors lately, never have I heard a single good comment about the management here, especially the new woman who has replaced the last failure. She thinks we live in the inner city, and treats tenants with disrespect,and calls the cops on any tenant who raises their voice out of rage and anger out of mistreatment. By the way they NEVER return calls,so if you have any problems with them you have to go to the office and demand to speak to someone. ALWAYS document your calls, either by a recorder or ask the name of the person you spoke to. They deny phone calls, and deny messages when ever left. So protect your self against them.

High Five! I totally agree with every aspect of your message. Living here is a disgrace. I've actually thought about moving out before my lease is up too. We should petition to get this place shut down.
